Piper Smith is the Graphic Designer at AxiomWeb, responsible for the visual language behind every product the studio ships — from brand systems and UI design to motion graphics and print collateral.
Piper studied Graphic Design at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where she focused on visual communication and advanced typography under faculty who have shaped design for brands like Nike, Apple, and the Museum of Modern Art. She graduated with distinction and went on to complete a motion design certificate at Pratt Institute in New York, followed by a summer intensive in advanced typography at the Werkplaats Typografie in Arnhem, Netherlands — one of the most selective type programs in the world.
At AxiomWeb, Piper translates complex technical products into clean, intuitive visual systems. She builds design languages that hold up across screens, print, and motion — ensuring that every product the team ships looks as considered as it performs. Her work spans brand identity for SaaS products, UI design for enterprise dashboards, and motion graphics for client presentations.
Her philosophy: good design at a software company isn’t decoration. It’s architecture. Every visual decision either reduces cognitive load or adds to it. She reduces it.
